Canoeing Across the Northwest Territories

In the summer of 2023 Calem embarked on a dream adventure. A solo canoe trip across the Northwest Territories. 

He departed on May 18 from Fort Smith, and completed the journey 122 days later on September 16th in Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Ocean. Calem experienced spectacular scenery, pristine wilderness, phenomenal fishing, wildlife encounters, challenges and endless solitude. He was fortunate to meet and build friendships with many of the incredible residents of the NWT.

Calem’s trip was life-changing and pushed him to pursue a career as an adventurer. He captivates audiences with stories of his voyage as a public speaker. Calem is also working on a book and documentary on the journey.
