With legendary status as an all-terrain slayer, The CAPiTA Black Snowboard of Death is always evolving. In fact, the only element that has remained the same over the last seventeen years is the name itself. For 2018, The Black Snowboard of Death has been refined within its anytime, any place, any condition, all mountain design mantra that made it famous from the beginning. With a balanced presentation of a directional shape, the custom-designed hybrid camber allows for incredible control—making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and changing conditions. The 2018 model features a new Carbon Additive Matrix retaining longitudinal power while softening the overall flex compared to the 2017 release. Combine those attributes with a carbon formulated Hyperdrive™ NC12 base featuring a factory-direct Moonshot Pro-Tune™ race base structure, and The Black Snowboard of Death once again stands as one of the most advanced snowboards available.

The original ALPINE V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider’s performance in deep snow.
The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
FSC® CERTIFIED HOVER CORE™
An energetic core that is extremely light and strong with excellent dampening properties.
CARBON KEVLAR BATTERING RAM™ + CARBON FLEECE POWER SHIELD™
Mixed material technical weave yields an optimal blend of performance and strength.
HOLYSHEET™ FIBERGLASS MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN
Triax/Biax HOLYSHEET™ has higher glass to weight ratio than normal fiberglass, for a more powerful and dynamic ride, when impregnated with high performance plant based MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN.
HYPERDRIVE™ NC12 BASE
Exclusively formulated, sintered, ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density polyethylene, custom engineered with special additives. Rated for the most depraved speed junkies ONLY.

The sea, which had been beating against the shores, suddenly overwhelmed the barrier walls. The streets flooded and buildings were quickly submerged. In times like these, man proves no match for the ways of the world. The sea, often the placid provider of life has transitioned to taketh all, with untamable and merciless rage. A Great City, now lost to the known world. The captain looked out the window to the chaos below. Once an exclusive club for New York's elite, the 53rd floor of the building was now home to only him, his desiccated skeletal remains and a white rabbit with no name. He was now centuries old, but free from the constraints of money or age. He had discovered teleportation and time travel in the 18th century while sailing merchant ships across the North Atlantic, with an especially honed skill set in the art of levitation. As the city below disappeared into the darkness, it was time to move once again. "Rabbit, we shall take this ship an' hover above the sea until fate finally takes the heart from you and me."
